Crawford Farms in Elizabethtown offers a pick-your-own pumpkin patch in the field as well as plenty of fall-themed farm fun for kids and adults. Tickets are priced at $10 (under 2s free) and include 2 corn mazes, an awesome play area, a petting zoo and much more. Get a ride on the barrel train for $2 more or go on a hayride for $5 more.

Mink and Walters Pumpkin Patch

Mink and Walters Pumpkin Patch is a working farm that grows about 10 acres of pumpkins, gourds and edible fall crops each year. They are open from mid-September until October 31st each year. They also sell farm fresh produce at their roadside market in Elizabethtown. There’s a play area that is free for kids to enjoy while you’re at the farm. Animals are also there. A corn maze and kid’s barrel ride is available for the more adventurous for a small fee. Bring your camera to take your fall pictures at the autumn decorations.

Thomas Dairy Farm and Market
Thomas Dairy Farm is a family-owned farm with pumpkin patch offering a fun zone for kids, mega slides, a corn pit, multiple corn mazes including an 8-acre corn maze, jumping pad and barnyard games. This year’s corn maze theme is Super Mario it looks so cool! General admission is $12. 3s and under free, Senior discount available.

Roberts Family Farm

Roberts Family Farm offers seasonal family fun on the farm for much of the year. From mid-September until Halloween, they host their annual pumpkin patch with hayrides, a corn maze, and tasty concessions. There is an onsite bakery that makes a variety of tasty treats such as homemade cheesecakes, fudge, candies and cookies. On the weekends there’s grilled food and goodies sold by The Cooke’s Choice and Kentucky KettleHeadz.

Gallrein Farms

Gallrein Farms provides a place where buying fresh is an understatement. In the fall, they have all sorts of family-friendly fun. U-pick pumpkins, hayrides, corn maze, petting zoo and a variety of family-friendly activities are all available. The farm is open from Spring through Halloween, but fall fun starts mid-September. Activities include hayrides to the pumpkin patch, jump pillows, train rides, pedal tractors, a haunted house, petting zoo and much more. Activities are limited during the weekend, but full access is available on Saturdays and Sundays! General admission is $12 (Monday – Thursday), $15 (Friday), and $20 (Saturday – Sunday). An additional $10 gets you 10 shots on their Apple Cannon!

Pumpkin Patches in Northern Kentucky
Country Pumpkins

Country Pumpkins is open 6 days a week for fall fun! Country Pumpkins offers an authentic farm experience on a 250-acre dairy farm in Dry Ridge. They don’t have rides running during the weekdays, but their petting zoo, giant slide, fairy tail trail, and mini maze are open. Hayrides and barrel rides rides run Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. For an extra bit of fun, take a turn on the Chunkin’ Pumpkin launcher! Activity prices vary.

Reed Valley Orchard

Reed Vally Orchard’s U-pick apple season is an outing for the whole family. Head out to the farm and let the kids enjoy the 10 or even 20 foot slide, corn pit, and more before rounding out your visit with fresh apples, pears, and pumpkins. Make sure to stick around to enjoy a walk along their beautiful nature trail, follow the old stagecoach road, visit a campsite of Frank & Jesse James or venture out to the Back Forty. This is an 8th generation farm dating back to 1790.

Buckmeadow Farms

Buckmeadow Farms is a family owned and operated working cattle farm in Lawrenceburg. During the fall they run Buckmeadow Farm Fest. The Farm Fest includes plenty of family fun and runs Saturday and Sunday from mid September through mid October. Attractions included with $15 admission price (Under 2s free) are a 5-acre corn maze, a kiddie corn maze/walking trail, u-pick pumpkins, jumping pillows, petting zoo, a cotton pit, corn crib, Ninja Warrior, Tug of War, and play area including ziplines. Concessions and beef purchases are extra, as are any purchases of fall decor items including mums. A free u-pick pumpkin is included in each entry.

Happy Jack’s Farm
Happy Jack’s Farm in Frankfort grows a variety of quality vegetables and is a destination for family fun! Take the family out to the farm during pumpkin season for wagon rides, music, corn maze, pick-your-own pumpkins and more. The farm is open to the public each September and October. You can take a wagon ride to their 20 acre pumpkin patch where they raise over 75 varieties of pumpkins, gourds and squash. Devine’s offers all sorts of fall-themed farm fun just outside of Harrodsburg. They have pick-in-the-field pumpkins and a corn maze that’s been nationally ranked! This year’s corn maze highlights everything we love about fall – Scarecrows, Jack-o-lanterns and more. Daynabrook Greenhouse

Daynabrook, located right along HWY 127 is a great location to buy all sorts of plants and is also a destination for family fun! They have a 40,000 square foot greenhouse where we love to get vegetables and flowers in the spring, but our favorite time of year to visit is fall. During the fall season the farm has playgrounds, a pumpkin patch, a corn maze, wagon rides, a petting zoo, bounce houses, mums, fall decor and more. $15 admission fee (2s and under free), includes the pumpkin patch, corn maze, petting zoo, playgrounds, wagon rides, fall decor, the sunflower field in September, and more. Complimentary pumpkins with each admission. Take your fall to the next level for an extra $5 and experience the carnival-style rides! Evans Orchard and Cider Mill

Evans Orchard offers something for everyone! Bring the kids and enjoy some delicious, creamy homemade fudge while they play on the Jumbo Jumper, or meet some of their friendly animals in the Barn Yard Petting Zoo. They are open Spring, Summer and Fall for various growing seasons and have more than 20 acres of pumpkin patches where you can pick your own pumpkins each fall. Eckert’s Orchard
Eckert’s Orchard is more than a farm, it’s always a place to come for play and fun live entertainment. My kids absolutely love their playground, which includes a 3-story Tree House, a giant slide, and climbing to the top of Terry’s Apple Mountain. Gem mining allows kids to discover hidden treasures, and once they do, they can turn their attention to other activities such as bouncing on the pumpkin jumping pad. They offer both pick-your-own apples and pumpkins. Be sure to treat your sweet tooth with seasonal tastes like cider donuts and caramel apples. There are also bonfire sites available for reservations as well as live music from 2-4pm.

Christian Way Farm

Christian Way Farm is a family-friendly place to enjoy the experience of a farm and a visit to the country. Whether you’re feeding the animals, playing through a farm-themed miniature golf course, playing on the hay castle, or stopping for lunch at the Christian Way Cafe, there’s something for everyone. For more than 20 years they’ve welcomed the young and the young at heart to the farm for fun in the Fall. The hayrides take you amongst the pumpkins – wave hi to the farm animals on your way by! You can grind corn to feed the farm animals, and you can even shop their country store for more fall favorites. Then just get lost in the corn maze or enjoy the hay castle. Farm admission is $14 (2s and up free) and gives access to all of the farm activities for the season. Admission does not include a pumpkin, but they will be available for purchase.

Trunnell’s Family Fun Acre and Farm Market, operates two locations in Utica and Owensboro. Hillview Stables

Hillview Stables is a farm in London that offers an annual pumpkin patch and other attractions. Admission includes a commercial playground, 100ft slide, animals in the petting zoo (feed is additional), corn mazes, corn pit, and a hayride to the pumpkin patch (purchasing pumpkins additional). There’s also a parakeet encounter, cow rides, pony rides, train rides, bouncing pillow, barrel slides and gemstone mining. They also have a concession stand including hotdogs, pulled pork, drinks, candy, chips, fried Oreos and pickles, cotton candy and more. They also have everything you need for fall decorating. Admission is $15, 2s and under free, tickets must be purchased for extras. They offer a special needs day on October 8th for individuals with special needs and their families only.

R Farm

This 130 acres of beautiful working farmland in the heart of Mason County grows hay, corn and of course, 5-7 acres of pumpkins and gourds. They also have an annual 2-acre corn maze and have approximately 26 varieties of animals. The pumpkin season is kicked off with the popular “R” Farm Pumpkin Festival – a petting zoo, hayrides to pick pumpkins, pony rides, pig train rides, ziplines, and tons of room for the kids to run and play. The festival also features a Pumpkin Pageant and a greased pig contest. The Pumpkin Festival runs September 27 to the end of October. Admission is $5, 2 and under are free.

White Oak Pumpkin Patch

White Oak Pumpkin Patch is a farm in West Liberty that offers 60 varieties of pumpkins, gourds, squash, Indian corn, straw, foddershocks and hay. They also have plenty of activities for family fun such as a petting zoo, patch train, inflatable obstacle course, hayrides, face paint and much more. Admission is $8 (3 and under are free) and includes the petting zoo, their massive playground and 2 corn maze scavenger hunts. You can do a hayride for $4 or ride the barrel train for $3 per person. Be sure to come hungry and try out the Daisy Cafe and leave room for their Alice in Pumpkinland themed ice cream floats.
