Railbird, the traditional name for a horse racing fan that sticks close to the rail, watching the action closely during each race, has taken on a new meaning with the return of the 2nd Annual Railbird Festival., back this fall and better than ever!
Music at Railbird
For two special days in August, world class artists and fans from all over will flock to Keeneland Race Track. The lineup includes Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Maren Morris, The Head & The Heart, Young the Giant, The Decemberists, Tanya Tucker, Trampled by Turtles and many more. Enjoy Kentucky’s Best Foods and Drinks at the Railbird Festival
It wouldn’t be a Kentucky festival without Bourbon, and Railbird won’t disappoint. The Rickhouse will be serving up bourbon from hand-selected barrels from Kentucky’s finest distilleries and immersive whiskey experiences. VIP ticketholders will get to enjoy a special opening reception at The Rickhouse on Friday evening where they’ll get the first pick of Railbird Select Bourbon bottles. Wagering at Railbird
The music isn’t the only exciting thing at Railbird. Off-track betting with coast-to-coast simulcast will be available. You can get in on the action and take in the races from an air-conditioned bar and lounge inside Lucky Day Plaza. If you’re new to betting, Keeneland’s own BETologists will be present to educate fans on the basics and make sure everyone has a chance to play.

Kids are welcome at Railbird and the event is stroller friendly! The Fillies and Colts area is a family-friendly zone with activities for both the young and the young at heart.
