Just because you are celebrating the Kentucky Derby at Home this year doesn’t mean you won’t be able to celebrate in style and enjoy some delicious food. For the first time, during the 2021 Derby, Churchill Down’s has released a “Derby At-Home” menu of racetrack favorites accompanied by a series of virtual cooking classes, making it easier than ever to partake in authentic derby traditions at home.

Derby At-Home Menu
This year’s Derby At-Home menu was created by Churchill Down’s Executive Chef, David Danielson. It is designed to inspire long-time Derby fans and newcomers to create their own spread in honor of Derby Day. The menu features a range of easy but authentic recipes that are inspired by those actually served at Churchill Downs on race day.
Virtual Cooking Classes
Along with the menu and recipes, the accompanying virtual cooking class series gives fans a look inside the kitchen of Chef Danielson, and amazing video guides for some of the food included on the menu, such as the Chicken Nuggets with Kentuckyaki Glaze and Pulled Pork Sliders with Peach & Vidalia Onion Chutney.
Bourbon Mixology Classes
As if that wasn’t enough, Bourbon Ambassador Tim Knittel will also offer fans an amazing mixology class where you can learn to make classic Derby cocktails like the Mint Julep and the Woodford Reserve Spire.
Each dish on the menu includes suggested pairings of wines and cocktails to round out the menu.
