Free Memberships at the Frazier Museum in Louisville

In the face of a disappointing year, the Frazier History Museum is offering a fantastic deal for Louisville-area residents. They are gifting a free 1-year membership to everyone who lives in the 12-county area surrounding Louisville. Memberships opened on October 22, 2020 and will be valid through October 31, 2021, regardless of when you register.

The Frazier Museum is Kentucky’s largest history museum. Now, families can enjoy their live performances, outstanding exhibits and much more throughout the next year. It’s great timing too when so many families are stuck with virtual and at-home learning for the first time!

Included with your membership is a 10% discount at the Frazier’s Kentucky-themed museum store, so you can pick up some cool merchandise while you’re at it.

The free memberships, which usually cost $55 for individuals and $84 for families, give visitors the perfect excuse to check out the museum’s newest permanent exhibit which recently opened. Named “Cool Kentucky,” the exhibit is dedicated to the history, culture and iconic figures of Kentucky. Other exhibits on view include The Spirit of Kentucky Bourbon Exhibit, What is a Vote Worth? Suffrage Then and Now, Celebrating the Sounds of Kentucky, The Lewis & Clark Experience, Border State: Kentucky and the Civil War, The Founder’s Gallery, The Stewart Historic Miniatures Gallery and more.

Who is Eligible for a Free Membership at the Frazier Museum?

Free memberships are available to residents in the 12 counties surrounding Louisville. This includes nine Kentucky counties and three in Indiana. The counties are Bullitt, Hardin, Henry, Jefferson, Meade, Nelson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer, Clark (IN), Floyd (IN) and Harrison (IN).
