Things still open in Kentucky During Coronavirus (COVID-19) Closures

During this time of uncertainty over the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), there are a few things still operating as usual in Kentucky and a few places open with special precautions. We’d suggest it is a good time to get out and enjoy the outdoors with your immediate household and practice social distancing to help curb the spread of the new coronavirus. We will keep this post updated as we hear about more and more things that are open. If you have news you’d like to add to this list, please message us on the KY Spotlight Facebook Page.

Kentucky State Parks

As of April 3, the majority of Kentucky State Parks’ facilities remain open for the public although many special events have been canceled and many parks are reducing hours. Spend time away from people enjoying nature during this Coronavirus situation! Follow Kentucky State Parks on Facebook for the most up to date information.

Parks and Golf Courses

Most municipal parks and golf courses will remain open for the time being. The public is encouraged to practice safe social distancing.
